Content of the lecture:
The lecture will:
- Provide you with fundamentals of word accent of Japanese. What is accent sandhi? What is an accentual phrase?
- Provide you with fundamentals of phrase intonation of Japanese. What is the shortcut to acquire a skill of reading Japanese text naturally and fluently.
- Show you how to use OJAD to teach word accent and its control in class.
- Show you how to use OJAD to teach intonational control for public speech class.
